This course is offered through the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As part of the Year Long Program, students are engaged in teaching and learning in public school classrooms while they take university courses. C&I 340: Principles and Practices in Science Education
The Science Education course covers the principles and practices of science education in school and in the lives of children. Designed for future teachers, it considers the organization of the science program, experiences and techniques of value in teaching, and the role of the classroom teacher and specialist.
