ISRL Systems Administrators

The goal of the ISRL technical staff is to provide a flexible, scalable, and reliable infrastructure for GSLIS information systems researchers and service projects to accomplish their goals. This infrastructure is constantly evolving. In trying to implement this infrastructure, we are conducting experiments in how to effectively develop and maintain a customer-managed network.

The personnel that make up the technical staff include:

Martin Wolske, Manager of Research Systems

Martin is a full time academic professional. Martin's background is in Behavioral Neurosciense, having received his Ph.D. at Rutgers in the field in 1993. His curriculum vita can be found at http://www.isrl.uiuc.edu/~mwolske/cv.html.

Martin's major duties and responsibilities include:

Brynnen Owen, Computer Systems Specialist

Brynnen is a full time academic professional with a background in Physics. He received his Ph.D. in the field from the University of Illinois in 2001.

Paul Kennedy, Computer Systems Specialist

Paul is a full time academic hourly with a background in Computer Science. Paul received his master's in the field in 2002.
