The Habanero Whiteboard can be used to share images and drawings during your collaboration. GIF and JPEG files can be shared, either from the local disk, or from anywhere on the Web. Drawing tools are available to draw and annotate on your images. The Whiteboard is a layered drawing tool, which means that objects in the Whiteboard can be moved independently from each other.
Check out a sample of an X-Ray of an Ilizarov external fixator. The image was loaded during a Habanero Whiteboard session and commented with text and hand-drawn graphics.

Both the source and bytecode is included in the NCSA Habanero distribution package as a technology demonstration. Source code is provided as exemplary material.
