The Color Palette
The Whiteboard is equipped with a palette of twelve colors that you can
use to select a color. When you select a color, it appears in the main
color select box next to the color selector. Simply click on the color
that you want to draw with, and then start drawing.
The Color Selector
If the colors in the default palette are not exactly the right color, you
can use the color selector to change colors. First, select a color from
the default palette. Now, you can alter the color by moving the red, green,
and blue sliders in the col or selector. As you move the sliders, the color
in the main color box changes to reflect the current color.
Note! Primitives that are already drawn are not effected by color
changes. That means you can have more than the original twelve colors in
a Whiteboard drawing.
Freehand
This primitive is used to draw a freehand line on the whiteboard. Position
your cursor over the image where you want to draw and click the mouse button.
Continue holding down the mouse button and move the mouse to draw on the
image. Let up on the mouse button to stop drawing.

The straight-line primitive is used to draw a straight line on the whiteboard.
Click the mouse button where you want to start drawing the line. This is
the anchor point of the line. If you keep holding down the mouse button
and move the mouse arou nd, you'll see a straight line with one end anchored
on the image. Move the mouse to where you want the second point, and let
up on the mouse button to finish drawing the line.
Pointer
The pointer primitive is used to draw a cross hair on the image to indicate
a point of interest. Clicking once on the image will draw a small cross
hair on the image.
Text
The text primitive is used to write text onto your image. Click the mouse
where you want to start writing text. Then, type the words you want to
place onto the image. After you are finished typing, press the "return"
(or "enter") key to transmit the text to the other collaborators.
Rectangle
The rectangle primitive is used to draw rectangles on the screen. This
is useful for highlighting large areas of an image. Click at the point
where you want to start drawing the rectangle. Keep the mouse button pressed

complete the primitive.

screen. Click at the point where you want to start drawing the rectangle.

rectangle or text) to the top of the primitive "pile".
Push to Bottom
This operational tool is used to push a drawing primitive (such as a rectangle
or text) to the bottom of the primitive "pile".
Delete
This operational tool is used to remove a specific drawing primitive from
the Whiteboard. Once deleted, there is no way to recover the drawn primitive.
Move
This operational tool is used move a primitive located on the Whiteboard
to a new location. For example, if you've already drawn a primitive on
the whiteboard and need more exact placement, use this tool to move the
primitive to it's new location.
Tack
This operational tool is used to tack a drawing primitive to the whiteboard. Click on the primitive you wish to tack to the whiteboard. Tacking a primitive to the whiteboard makes it immovable by other session participants. To "untack" a primitive, simply click on it again. This makes it movable by other participants again.
