The original applet, card test, comes from the JDK demos directory. Cards Test was developed by Sun Microsystems and ported to the Habanero framework. Card Test demonstrates shared control of state transitions and was included in this release as a source code example. Both the applet and hablet code is provided as a porting example.

Both the source and bytecode is included in the NCSA Habanero distribution package as a technology demonstration. Source code is provided as exemplary material.
