Record       Ctrl + R

There are three ways to open the record window during a session: select Record from the Meeting menu, press and hold CTRL + R on the keyboard, or click the button. Recording is performed at the local or client side

The recorded data, or replay data, is written locally to any directory where you have write permission. The location of this directory is defined by the dir.record parameter in the user properties file, (user.props). Each user has a copy of the user.props file in their Habanero resource directory (habanero.rsc).

NOTE: The Windows installation program defines this directory as the capture directory in the directory where Habanero is installed. Unix and Mac users need to define this manually as part of the installation process.
For example:     dir.record=C:\program files\ncsa\habanero2.0\capture
To ensure all participants are aware that the session being recorded, the image will appear in the lower left corner of each application window that is being recorded.

Start Recording

Start recording data by opening the record window during a session. It appears with a default path and directory name.

NOTE:   Each recording must be written into a different directory to prevent existing data from being overwritten.

Stop Recording

Stop recording data by opening the record window or by leaving the session. If you opened the record window, click the STOP button to end the recording.
