Several applets use the openStream call from a URL. If you want to modify this to open a stream from a local file, then you'll have to activate one of the checkboxes. If you activate the first checkbox you'll need to just add a file extension to the adjacent textField. If, however, you activate the second checkbox, you'll need to add a specific file's name to its adjacent textField. After clicking a checkbox and entering something in it adjacent textField click on the Update Stream Handling Button and the hit the Next OpenStream button. You can choose to leave the openStream call as it is though, by just hitting the Next OpenStream button.
